Leanna Whitmer
Hello! My name is Leanna Whitmer, and I am excited to be joining the Wildcat community as a Pre-K teacher.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education-Early Childhood Unified from Wichita State University. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and hands-on learning environment where every child feels valued and excited to learn.
I believe that the preschool years lay a crucial foundation for lifelong learning, and I look forward to helping my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Building strong relationships with students and families is very important to me, and I am excited to partner with you throughout the school year.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have three children. We have two daughters who attend school in Mulvane, and our son graduated in 2026. As a family, we enjoy camping, hiking, playing board games, and making memories together.
I'm eager to meet all my students and their families and embark on this exciting journey together. Go Wildcats!
