May 19, 2023 update
Dear Wildcat Family,
Wow!! I cannot believe it is that time of year. We have had such an amazing year, and it has flown by along with so many memories made. Thank you all for all the support you have provided the school and your child this past school year. This will be our last update for the school year, we hope that you and your students enjoy their summer and time away from school.
This week's updates and reminders:
- MMS News May 19
- May 22 PM Activity
- During the afternoon of May 22 we will have a school wide carnival activity outside.
- Students will eat lunch at the stadium and then we will proceed with various different activities
- No Cell Phones will be allowed during the carnival.
- Students will be permitted to wear a hat during the carnival and are encouraged to bring/wear sunscreen.
- We will conclude the day with passing out year books and having a signing party from 2:15 - 3:00 in the gym.
- Students may take their phone during the yearbook signing period to catch a few memories prior to the end of the year.
- During the afternoon of May 22 we will have a school wide carnival activity outside.
- May 23
- Half Day
- 6th and 7th Grade students will be dismissed at 11:20.
- 8th Grade Promotion
- When: Monday, May 22, 2023 at 7:00 PM
- Where: Mulvane High School Gym
- This ceremony will signify the completion of of 8th graders school year
- This is a ceremonious event and we ask student dress accordingly

"A Friend Asks" app will be available on student chrome books beginning December 12.
Additional resources are available here from “The Jason Foundation.”. KSDE is assisting the Kansas Attorney General’s office in spreading the word about a new mobile app aimed at suicide prevention. This app is in collaboration with the Jason Foundation.
