I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable summer! My name is Jessica Stahl, and I am excited to introduce myself as the 6th, 7th and 8th grade adaptive ELA teacher and 7th grade special education case manager for the 2026-2027 school year. In Fall of 2014, I graduated from Fort Hays State University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, with a minor in Special Education. In Summer 2018, I graduated  from Pittsburg State University with my master's in Special Education to teach K-12 High/Low Incidence. I graduated in 2024 from Pittsburg State University with my District Leadership. I am currently attending Pittsburg State University to obtain my Building Leadership Certificate. 

I taught 9 years at the elementary level. This is my second year at the middle school. I am excited to get to know my students and learn alongside them throughout the year! I have no doubts that this year will be fantastic.

The textbook HMH into Lit will be used in this class along with supplemental novels and other materials from a variety of sources. Additionally, students will be using their Chromebooks to enhance learning opportunities.
