Mulvane School District is located approximately 10 miles south of McConnell Air Force Base and has a strong military heritage. On January 23, 2023, the USD 263 School Board passed a resolution declaring our support for educating military students and supporting military families in accordance with the Purple Star Schools Program.  We are honored and committed to being a Purple Star district!

The information here is intended to support military students and families as they pursue educational opportunities in our district.

Planning Your Arrival to Mulvane School District

  • USD 263 residents should contact the school their student will attend and communicate with the registrar to set up an enrollment appointment.  Not ready to set up an appointment? Go ahead and reach out to the registrar, and they will anticipate the upcoming enrollment

  • Bring the following information to your enrollment appointment: proof of district residency (purchase contract, lease agreement, utility bill with your name and address), birth certificate, and grades from previous school. Also, please withdraw from your previous school prior to enrolling with us.

Preparing to Exit Mulvane Schools

• Exiting the School and Educational Records Transfer Requests: Parents/Guardians should notify the registrar at their student's school of their intent to transfer out.  Registrars will schedule the last date of attendance, gather school materials, check for outstanding fees, and complete exit records and transfer paperwork.  
• Contact the Special Services Office to transfer a student's IEP or 504 to another school, 316-777-1102
