In January 2025, the district welcomed Officer Jerrick as our newest SRO for Mulvane Public Schools. We are extremely excited about this partnership between the Board of Education and the Mulvane Police Department.
In July 2017, the district welcomed Officer Bohannon as our new SRO for Mulvane Public Schools. We are extremely excited about this partnership between the Board of Education and the Mulvane Police Department.
This position has been instrumental in the process of promoting positive behavior in our school district of 1800 students.
The main goal of the SRO is to provide a highly visible presence that promotes positive relationships between students and law enforcement that, in turn, helps prevent juvenile delinquency.
As our SRO, they have a variety of roles in our school community. Their duties and responsibilities include serving as a positive role model, maintaining a close partnership with school administrators to provide for a safe and secure environment, and counseling both students and parents on various topics.
