Welcome to Mulvane Middle School.  We are excited to have you here and hope that you will make the very best of your middle school experience.  Through your experiences at Mulvane Middle School you will establish a strong foundation for academic success and prepare yourself for a productive future.  The faculty and staff at Mulvane Middle School are dedicated to helping you achieve at your highest potential, and we hope that you are committed to doing your very best.  Your education is the top priority at Mulvane Middle School and the educational process works best in an atmosphere that is conducive to learning.

My name is Colin Cathey and I am ecstatic to serve as the Principal at Mulvane Middle School.  I have spent the past 25 years as an educator in a variety of roles.  I began my career as a math teacher, coach.  After 10 years in the classroom, I stepped into the administrative world as an athletic director and assistant principal for 3 years.  Then served the Topeka West High School (Topeka, KS) Community for 10 years as the associate principal and one year as the building principal.  As I begin my third year serving the Mulvane Community, I enter the doors each day with the passion to encourage all students to give their best effort and ensure that every student is finding success.
