Welcome to the Mulvane USD 263 Transportation route information page.  The information contained on this page pertains only to Mulvane school bus routes.  For shuttle information, please click on the shuttle information page.

FAQ's

How do I get my child enrolled on a bus?  

Bus enrollment forms can be obtained in the school office or you can download a form from the Transportation Forms tab.  Each student needs to turn in a Route Enrollment Form and a Student Disciplinary Contract.

Where will my child be picked up?  

All students will be picked up at the front driveway of the address listed on that student's Route Enrollment Form.  If bus access is unavailable at this address, the student will be picked up at the nearest access point.

When will my child be picked up?

All students will be picked up as close to the same time every day.  Once routing has been completed following enrollment in August, drivers will contact the route roster and give a closer estimate as to when the bus will arrive.  All students are requested to be at their designated bus stop 5 minutes prior to normal bus arrival time.  

Can I enroll my child on the bus after school has already began?

Yes.  Pick up a bus enrollment form from the school office or download one from the Transportation Forms tab and turn this into the school office.  Once the paperwork arrives at transportation, the student will be added to the appropriate route.  The director or driver will contact you with bus stop times and any other questions you may have.

What bus will my child ride?

Each designated area has a route number assigned.  Each bus has a very large green and white magnet next to the door that labels the bus.  Ex. Route 1, Shuttle 1, etc.    

Who is my child's bus driver?

Route drivers will introduce themselves when they call their route roster at the beginning of the year.  Mulvane USD 263 DOT employs an incredible group of drivers.  All drivers successfully complete annual training and testing.  Route bus drivers drive the same route throughout the year except when they are driving on a field trip or activity.

What happens if my child gets in trouble on the bus?

Disciplinary measures will be followed as stated in the Student Disciplinary Guidelines.
