District Information

Mulvane is located just 10 miles south of Wichita and is easily accessed by K-15, Rock Road, or the Kansas Turnpike. Mulvane has the best of both worlds-small community living with big city convenience. Mulvane School District employs 379 people to serve its population of approximately 9,354. There are approximately 1,844 children in our five district schools-PreK-2nd (student population approx. 452), 3rd-5th (student population approx. 396), 6th-8th (student population approx. 440), and 9th-12th (student population approx. 556). USD 263 has enjoyed moderate controlled growth for the past several years and that trend is expected to continue.

As a Purple Star district near McConnell Air Force Base, we are grateful to support military students and families. Mulvane School District values continuous improvement and seeks to employ staff who are innovative, adaptable, and ready to meet the demands of today's learners.
