MGS Principal, Erica Mize
I am the proud principal of Mulvane Grade School! Welcome.
My career as a public educator began in 2007 as a 3rd grade teacher at Mulvane Grade School. During my time at MGS I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University. In 2013 I began my work on my 2nd Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. While working on my 2nd graduate degree I took a teaching position in Wichita Public Schools to engage in new opportunities and learn. I spent the last 7 years in Wichita Public Schools. During that time I served as an assistant principal and principal. I am thrilled to return home to where it all began at Mulvane Grade School as the principal.
I have 2 children. My oldest will be a 7th grader at Mulvane Middle School and my youngest will be a 6th grader at Mulvane Middle School. After school hours you can usually find us at a sporting practice or event.
I look forward to serving you and the Mulvane community.
