Attention 8th Graders: If you are interested in a position in MHS Student Council, please check your email for a google form and submit it by the end of the school day, Thursday, May 1st. Voting will take place May 2nd.

Attention MMS: Any 6th or 7th grade students interested in joining Student Council next year should attend an informational meeting on Monday, April 28th in the library during advisement. Please check in with your advisement teacher before attending the meeting.

Coach Beckwith: To all 8th grade boys basketball players: Coach Brumbelow will be here for an informational meeting about summer basketball camp in the main gym during advisement This morning. If you plan on playing high school basketball next year, please attend this meeting to meet Coach Brumbelow and to hear about our summer activities!

Mrs. Hall: Calling all 8th grade Wildcats! Are you ready to show off your moves, Make new friends, and bring the energy to the sidelines? Then come try out for the Mulvane High School Dance Team! The Clinic will be held Monday, May 5th and Tuesday May 6th at 7 am at Mulvane High School. Review and tryouts will be held Wednesday, May 7th. Applications are available NOW in the Middle School Front Office. Practice videos will be shared after your turn in your application. No experience? No problem! Whether you’re a seasoned dancer of just love to move to the beat, we welcome all skill levels. Come ready to learn, have fun, and show your Wildcat Spirit! Let’s Dance, MHS!

Ms. Gowdy: Due to a lack of participants for Chess Club on Tuesday, there will be a meeting today after school until 4:15.

Mrs. Downs: Next week NJHS is holding a Spirit Week to participate it will be 50 cents each day or bring $2 to participate all week! All money raised will be used to purchase supplies to make blankets for children in the hospital. Please see posters hung around the school for specific days. You will give your money to your advisement teachers. There will be prizes for participation!

When did April become the Month of the Military Child? Since 1986, April has been designated as the Month of the Military Child by the United States Department of Defense. This is a legacy of Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger as a time to applaud military children and the daily sacrifices they make and the challenges that they overcome.
