Chantel Johnson, MPS Principal
I am incredibly excited and honored to introduce myself as the Principal of Munson Primary School! Bringing a passion for student growth and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, I am thrilled to join the wonderful Munson community.
A little about me...I earned my teaching degree from Wichita State University, and my education career began at Haysville West Middle School, where I taught 6th grade math. In 2015, I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Baker University. Most recently, I have served as an assistant principal, gaining invaluable experience at Mulvane High School. While my background includes supporting older students, my heart is dedicated to building the strong foundational blocks that start right here in primary school.
On a personal note, my husband and I are the proud parents of two wonderful children who are both attending MMS. As a family rooted in education, we know firsthand how important a positive, encouraging school community is for a child's development.
I look forward to partnering with our amazing staff and families to ensure every student at Munson Primary feels safe, valued, and excited to learn every day. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun!
