Welcome
My name is Tempe Heck. This is my ninth year teaching in Mulvane, my seventeenth year teaching overall. I graduated with an elementary and special education degree from Black Hills State University in SD. I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University. I have previously taught K-8 in a one room country school as well as many years in fourth grade. I served two years as a substitute teacher and long term substitute in Mulvane as well as ½ day kindergarten teacher before moving to full-time first grade. My husband Joel works at Cessna and we have two children: Clement, a Senior; and Malena, a Sophomore. Both are students in Mulvane.
We have lived in Mulvane for 23 years and are proud to call it home. I am very excited to be teaching at Munson Primary. This year we will learn lots and have fun while doing it!
