Steering Committee Seeks Community Feedback

Community Feedback Presentation

Over the last several months, a Community Steering Committee made up of parents, teachers, staff and community members has been meeting and evaluating short and long-term district needs.  The committee has invested a lot of time in reviewing and evaluating the best way to meet these needs in an efficient and effective manner. The committee has focused on several key goals in developing the master plan:

1.      Safety and security of our students, staff, and parents of all district facilities

2.      Address aging facilities and deferred maintenance

3.      Improved Student Opportunities through technology and equity for all students

4.      Size buildings for projected growth

The Steering Committee will host informational meetings to share the findings of their work and collaborate with you to give them feedback about the plans for our School District’s future. 

Schedule of Meetings

·         Thursday, January 11th at *11:30 am at the Mulvane Public Library (*this is an additional time/location)  

·         Thursday, January 11th at 6:30 pm at Mulvane High School 

Our district’s mission is to prepare all students with academic and life skills while respecting the diverse social, educational, and cultural characteristics of each individual student.  Our students have a lot of potential and we want to ensure that our facilities support all learners.  

It is important that we have feedback from the community and hope you will plan on attending one of the meetings.
